Gender Equity and Domestic Violence Prevention:

Since the inception, PUP has been working to develop the socio-economic condition of the poor villagers by providing income opportunities through involving them with its Handicraft Production unit. In this way PUP accumulate the village women's as a group, afterward providing them skill development training on different handicraft product making so that they can be capable to produce quality handicraft product and earn money. The aims behind this initiative is to ensure gender equity and women empowerment. PUP also has been conducting different right based training to its producers, beneficiaries and volunteers to reduce domestic violence and gender discriminations.
